A heavily pregnant woman, who suddenly went into labour while in commercial bus to Lagos Island was this morning rushed to Lagos Island Maternity by the operatives of Rapid Response Squad patrolling Ketu Alapere. The pregnant lady, in her early 30s was inside a danfo bus enroute Lagos Island when she started calling for assistance of other passengers in the bus that the baby’s head was out. On getting wind of the ceaseless shouts of,  “please help, the baby’s head is out” , the RRS Officers close by Ketu Alapere footbridge moved the lady out into RRS vehicle and took her to a private hospital in Ogudu where she was rejected because she had no card. Losing so much fluid, the lady suggested she should be taken to Lagos Island Maternity Hospital, where she was instantly received and taken to the Labour Room. The officers left the lady in custody of three volunteers and nurses before leaving the hospital to return to their beat in Ketu Alapere this afternoon.

The Government of the Republic of Turkey, Through its Embassy in Nigeria have disowned Abdülkadir Erkahraman a died hard supporter of IPOB who claimed he is a Turkish Diplomat and rep. According to the Embassy it is committed to the territorial integrity and political unity of the country. Abdülkadir has always posted videos online accusing President Buhari of committing genocide. But the Embassy in a statement on Saturday said Erkahraman is not a Turkish diplomat or an official representative of the Turkish government, and that they are yet to confirm if he is a citizen in the first place.

He was 91.  He died Friday afternoon of natural causes at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, his agent, John Kelly, told The Hollywood Reporter. Stanton was eerily creepy as evil polygamist and self-proclaimed Mormon prophet Roman Grant on HBO’s Big Love, and he partnered regularly with David Lynch, appearing in the director’s Wild at Heart (1990), Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me (1992) and the series' recent return, the 1993 miniseries Hotel Room, The Straight Story (1999) and Inland Empire (2006).

A white man Tyler Roysdon has been suspended on Facebook following a racist statement he made on his page, The firefighter said he’d prefer to save a dog in an emergency than a black person.. He wrote that if he had to choose between saving a dog or a black man from a building, the dog would get priority, because “one dog is more important than a million n****rs.” Roysdon has since removed the post from his Facebook page, but a screenshot appears below.

Uganda Minister for Health for General Duties, Hon. Sarah Opendi on Friday disguised herself as a patient and busted a couple of corrupt medical workers in Kampala. The Minister dressed up in a burka (Muslim attire) in order to investigate reports of alleged corruption at China- Naguru Hospital, Kampala. Two health workers, according to a statement by the Health Ministry, were arrested when the attempted to solicit a bribe from the veiled “patient.” The arrested are a laboratory technician and a nursing assistant. These were arrested by the Minister and Health Monitoring Unit for charging the Minister and other patient’s illicit amounts of money for services meant to be given free to the public.
