19-year-old man arrested in fatal shooting of a mum who boasted about her financial success on Facebook
A man was arrested on Saturday in connection with the fatal shooting of a Florida mother who gushed about her financial success on Facebook hours before her death. Suspect Joevan Joseph, 19, has been charged with first-degree murder in the June 29 killing of 33-year-old Makeva Jenkins, a mother of three and entrepreneur. Joseph said he "didn’t do it" when asked about Jenkins death as he was being escorted in handcuffs from Palm Beach County jail to a police cruiser. A judge denied Joseph bond on Sunday, according to Fox News. Jenkins, who founded The Prime Enterprise Group dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and small business owners, wrote in her last Facebook post that she was in "awe of how far" she’s come in her life and career. She talked about how she overcame homelessness to making six figures in two years.
