Rosie O’Donnell’s ex wife Michelle Rounds dead in apparent suicide




The ex-wife of comedian Rosie O'Donnell, has died in an apparent suicide. Michelle Rounds, who was married to O'Donnell for 2 years died at the age of 46.

Rounds died at her home on Monday at her home.

O'Donnell confirmed Rounds' death in a statement to TMZ. She said:

"I am saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy. Mental illness is a very serious issue affecting many families". "My thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle's family, her wife and their child."


O'Donnell and Rounds, who married in 2012, adopted a daughter, Dakota, together later that year. Dakota, who was their only child together, is now four years old.



They broke up in 2014, and O'Donnell filed for divorce the following year. It was then finalized in March 2016.

Rounds previously attempted to commit suicide in 2015 with pills and wine, but was saved when a friend had security kick down the door to her hotel room.
