People see PDP members as demons – Sule Lamido
Lamido Immediate past governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido has expressed disappointment with the way Nigerians, especially electorates, see members of the Peoples Democratic Party. He said the party was worried that people see its members as demons. PDP ruled Nigeria between 1999 and 2015 before it was ousted by the All Progressives Congress. Speaking with Vanguard on his presidential ambition in 2019, Lamido said one of his major challenges at the moment was the way Nigerians label the former ruling party, probably because of its past mistakes while in power. “We are all disturbed today because, for example, if you are a member of the PDP, you are labelled a demon.
