EFCC arrests Record Label Owner Over Internet and Tax Fraud





The Economic and Financial Crime Commission has arrested a suspected Internet fraudster, Ake Oluseun, for tax fraud. The 30-year-old suspect, a graduate of Computer and Information Science, who owns Canbit Music, Canbit Resources (Nig.) Limited, Istartup Enterprise and Volta Company, allegedly sent an email to an employee of an American company requesting for the W-2s of the staff.

Coronavirus: See photos of the 240-bed Isolation Centre taking shape at the NYSC Camp in Anambra State

Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano is taking no chances in the fight against Coronavirus even when no case has been recorded in the state.    The governor took to his official Facebook page to share photos of the 240-bed Isolation Centre taking shape at the NYSC Camp in the state, and said that when ready it shall have all needed equipment and beds properly spaced.   Obiano also revealed that the Isolation facility centres at Awka, Nnewi, and Onitsha are being worked on.    Anambra currently has no confirmed case of coronavirus.

Anambra elections: Group declares Nnamdi Kanu wanted

A group known as the Indigenous People of Biafra rebranded (IPOBR) has declared the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu wanted. In a statement signed by the leader of the group, Mazi Ibekwe Ozuruigbo, Kanu betrayed the general course of Igbos by declaring a boycott of the upcoming Anambra elections. The statement read: “The leadership of the Indigenous People of Biafra Rebranded has declared Nnamdi Kanu wanted for betraying the course of Biafra of the mind which late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu handed down to his descendants before his demise.
