Beijing arrests 5 for Uniqlo sex tape that went viral

5 people have been arrested in connection with a video that went viral last week purportedly showing a couple having sex in a Beijing branch of the Uniqlo clothing store. The couple in question were arrested shortly after the clip went viral on Chinese social-media platforms WeChat and Weibo. It was not immediately clear who the other 3 individuals were or how they are allegedly connected to the case. The Cyberspace Administration of China, which regulates the Chinese Internet, said in a statement that the footage was “severely against socialist core values.” Nevertheless, the area in front of the flagship store saw increased foot traffic throughout the week as young people jostled to take selfies in front of the now infamous site. 3 year old boy falls into well while playing with his friends

A 3-year-old boy, Emmanuel Samuel, died on Sunday after he fell inside a well in front of a building on Hassan Sule Street, Ita Oluwo, in Ikorodu, Lagos. The toddler who was playing with his older brother, Timileyin Samuel, and some of their friends around 3pm in the area when the deceased accidentally fell into the well. It was learnt that residents and officials of the Lagos State Fire Service, who came to the area after receiving the distress call, had difficulties rescuing the victim due to the depth of the well. It was gathered that a member of the Oodua People’s Congress later summoned up courage and went down the well to rescue the boy at about 7pm. He brought out the boy dead. It was learnt that the well was dug about eight years ago by the landlord of the building but was abandoned when it did not produce water.
