Tiwa has been getting a lot of flak from fans since the racy video for her song Wanted was released. Some felt it was a bit too much, especially for a married woman. Well, there’s someone who thinks everyone should shush it and leave the girl alone. Peter Okoye took to his instagram page a few hours ago to defend Tiwa, comparing her to Beyonce and Nicki and pointing out the hypocrisy. He shared this pic of Beyonce above right and wrote what you see above. Ngozi Okonjo IwealaChineme Okafor  The Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Ministerof Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, has disclosed that the current cycle of economic pain and deprivation being experienced in the country are caused by the reckless economic mistakes that were made by the ruling class in the 1980s and 1990s. Okonjo-Iweala stated that the federal government’s economic decisions within the periods ensured that both decades were wasted without any form of progress in the economy. The minister said this on Sunday in Ilishan, Ogun State, when she delivered a speech at the 12th convocation ceremony of Babcock University. While describing 1999 when Nigeria returned to democratic rule as the turning point for the country, withthe government’s initiation of various macroeconomic and structural reforms to manage the economy, she however noted that the current government of President Goodluck Jonathan has thus continued from where former President Olusegun Obasanjo left

The national president of NARD, Dr. Jubril Abdullahi, told THISDAY that “the strike would continue until tomorrow, nothing has changed, we continue with the strike until that day.”Abdullahi informed THISDAY that the association had become wary of going back and forth with government on its responsibility to meet the demands of NARD.  The Australian government has offered to deploy its Special Forces to help Nigeria rescue more than 200 schoolgirls who were abducted more than a month ago by the extremist Boko Haram group from their secondary school in Chibok, Borno State. This came as the Inspector General of Police (IG). Mr. Mohammed Abubakar, overturned the order by the Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr. Joseph Mbu, banning the#BringBackOurGirls rallies in Abuja, stating that the Police High Command did not issue any order banning peaceful assemblies/protests anywhere in Nigeria. The Australian government has offered to provide its special forces to help Nigeria to rescue the more than 200 schoolgirls kidnapped by Boko Haram. The schoolgirls were abducted by the Islamic sect on April14. The abduction attracted international outrage and led to the birth of the BringBackOurGirls campaign.
